New Campari Ad Ends with a Wes Anderson Twist

Campari and agency &Friends have capped off their ‘Ode to Cinema’ series with a final ad inspired by the unmistakable aesthetic of Wes Anderson. This last spot sees world-class bartender Joe Schofield channeling his inner deadpan protagonist as he assembles his signature Negroni in a minimalist hotel room—a scene that feels right out of The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Creative director Harry Woulds explained that every detail, from lighting to props, was carefully chosen to pack a punch in each shot, staying true to Anderson’s signature style. Director Sakari Lerkkanen shared how the team’s love for cinema helped them nail everything from vintage lenses to modern handheld cinematography, creating a perfect send-off to the cinematic campaign.
