What are the best 90s commercial jingles?

First of all, everyone has an opinion about what the best 90s commercial jingles are, and there were a lot of great songs to choose from. We love ads so much that we created a newsletter full of the week’s trending ads, so we know a good commercial when we see one. Putting together this list of the best company jingles from the 1990s brought back a ton of memories for our office, and we’re excited to share the top jingles with you.

So, let’s get started. If you want to go back a decade because the 90s feel a bit too soon, be sure to take a look at our list of the best jingles from the 1980s. And as usual, we’ll be providing lyrics to the 90s commercial jingles below, so we expect you to sing along.

Here are the top 90s commercial jingles of all time

9. McDonald’s

The Year: 1995

The Jingle: Have You Had Your Break Today?

This was such a tune! McDonald’s has had plenty of great slogans, but this jingle might be the best long-form song they’ve ever put out. Outside of two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions and a sesame seed bun. That was catchy.

Jingle Lyrics:

Have you had your break today?

We all need to get away

There’s one place that’s on your way

McDonald’s is your break today

Have you had your break today?

Oh take time out McDonald way

Save a little money for the smiles that are coming

Have you had your break today?

Feed me please me tell me please me

Watch me two Micky Dees

Have you had your break today?

Any time is a time to play

Take a break the smile a day

Have you had your break today?

8. Coca-Cola

The Year: 1994

The 90s Jingle: Always Coca-Cola

Another major toe tapper. This isn’t just a great jingle…it’s a pretty awesome song. I’m not downloading it or anything, but you know. Give credit where credit is due.

Jingle Lyrics:

Whenever there’s a pool there’s always a flirt

Whenever there is school there’s always homework

Whenever there’s a beat there’s always a drum

Whenever there’s fun there’s always Coca-Cola

Yeahhhh

The stars will always shine

The birds will always sing

As long as there’s thirst there’s always the real thing

Coca-Cola Classic is always the one

Whenever there is fun there’s always Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola

Always Coca-Cola

7. Baby Bottle Pop

The Year: 1998

The Jingle:

Who wouldn’t remember this smash hit of a 90s jingle? This song was all over every kid’s TV station in the 90s, going to be honest though, it wasn’t exactly a source of anything but sugar. Which is probably why the kids look so excited.

Jingle Lyrics:

(They look like babies!)

It’s Baby Bottle Pop

It’s a Baby Bottle Pop

Just lick the pop, dip it and shake it

And lick it again!

It’s a Baby Bottle Pop

Baby Bottle Pop

6. Socker Boppers

The Year: 1996

The Jingle: Sock All Day, Bop All Night

How in the world did this toy get approved? Hey Johnie, here’s some balloons, go beat the snot out of your siblings. Be back for supper!

Jingle Lyrics:

Socker Bopper, Socker Bopper

You can sock all day

And bop all night

Socker Bopper, Socker Bopper

More fun than, a pillow fight!

Blow ’em up

Put your hand inside

Get ready to have

The time of your life!

Socker Bopper, Socker Bopper

Sock ’em once, and bop ’em twice

More fun than, a pillow fight!

5. Bagel Bites (The Tastiest Item on our 90s Commercial Jingles list)

The Year: 1997

The Jingle: Pizza Anytime

We ate our share of Bagel Bites back in the day, and it’s probably showing now. Bagel Bites were the snack every kid wanted after school, and the good old toaster oven was always there to heat ’em up. Top notch 90s jingle right here.

Jingle Lyrics:

Pizzaaaaaaa in the morning

Pizza in the evening

Pizza at supper time

When pizzas on a bagel

You can eat pizza anytime

–

Pizza during primetime

Anytime’s the right time

Pizza going down so fine

So fine so fine so fine

When pizzas on a bagel

You can eat pizza anytime

4. Band-Aid

The Year: 1997

The Jingle: Stuck on Band-Aid

Bet you didn’t know this original song was written by the legend himself, Rod Stewart? Prepare to tell people Maggie May is his second best song now. This jingle’s been floating through the decades for a long time, but it sounded particularly great in the 90s.

Jingle Lyrics:

I am stuck on Band-Aid brand

Cause Band-Aid’s stuck on me

I am stuck on Band-Aid brand

Cause germs don’t stick on me!

I am stuck on Band-Aid brand

Cause germs don’t stick on me!

3. Chili’s

The Year: 1994

The Jingle: I Want My Baby Back

This is the original version of Chili’s famous jingle, which would later on in 2002 be performed by N’Sync. Because, that’s a thing boy band’s do: sing catchy 90s commercial jingles.

Jingle Lyrics:

I want my baby back baby back baby back baby back baby back ribs

I want my baby back baby back baby back baby back baby back ribs

Chili’s, baby back ribs

BBQ sauce

I got my baby back ribs

2. Mentos

The Year: 1994

The Jingle: The Freshmaker

Is this dude just about the coolest? We’re getting serious Zack Morris vibes. Nostalgia aside, Mentos came up with one heck of a jingle for this spot. It’s the number two on our best 90s commercial jingles list.

Jingle Lyrics:

It doesn’t matter what comes

Fresh goes better in life

With Mentos fresh and full of life

Nothing gets to you

Stayin’ fresh stayin’ cool

With Mentos fresh and full of life!

Fresh goes better with Mentos freshness

Fresh goes better with Mentos fresh and full of life!

1. Connect Four

The Year: 1992

The 90s Commercial Jingle of the Decade: Go For It

It sure didn’t take too long for Milton Bradley to produce the greatest jingle of the 90s. Connect Four is one of those games that isn’t too exciting, but boy did this amazing jingle have us sold. Do they have an app yet? We’ll go for that.

Jingle Lyrics:

Go for it red

Go for it black

Go for it – Connect Four!

Got three in a row?

Go for one more

Go for it – Connect Four!

Go for the bottom

Go for the top

Watch for the block

Forget it your stopped

Go for the glory

Go for the score

Go for it – Connect Four!

Go for it – Connect Four!

If those 90s commercial jingles don’t have your brain buzzing, we’re not sure what will. Good luck getting those out of your head!
